Well that was week 1. Hope those that went to the A&P show had a great time. I'm hoping to have fun with my boys 2morrow. If I see u I'll take a photo of u. OK

Topics for this term are

• Te Ngahere - The Bush - Enquiry Learning
• Mosaics - Making them with tiles, paper, on the computer, our fotos
• NUMPa - Number. Counting up and backwards, recognising numerals, ordering numerals, adding and knowing doubles ( 2+2, 3+3, 1+1, etc )
• Whetuara - Performing in the combined schools kapa haka festival
• Athletics - Running the 25, 50, 75, 100 and 200 meters, throwing for distance,
• Written and Oral languages - Describing
• Junior Modules - this were the juniors aged 5-7 practice things like folding, cutting, pasting, etc in a creative environment to make art
• ICT Modules - children are placed into appropriate groups and rotate through different classes to learn how to use a digital camera, keyboard skills, windows movie maker, u-tube, and much more
• Te Reo - Akongia wera kupu o te ngahere ie: manu, ngangara, rakau, rau, etc
• Student lead E:portfolio sharing of learning Week 6
